How to view the status of a Workflow - Event Status

This particularly applies to workflows that have been put in place on implementations & was highlighted by the Purchase Order work that exists on the Harman installation - (HAR-013 PO Authorisation Workflow) . - Tkt #484

There was an incident where the PO workflow was stuck and this was indicated with a "workflow symbol" on the record that remained. ( As shown below) - Subsequent work flow events were being processed correctly and the workflow symbol disappearing when it was processed successfully.

To view the view the status of the task you need to open up the "Event Status" form and locate the task - The PO Workflow happens to be an "idoOnItemupdate" task and filter on failures.

In the result box, is a description of the transaction failure. - This information needs to be passed on to the Developer or raised as an Infor incident so that they can advise on a suitable resolution.

It just happens to be that in this failure was caused by a deadlock.
