Dealing with Promise & Due Dates - Purchase Order Lines
When dealing with Purchase Order dates :
The Promise Date is the date the supplier promises to deliver your purchased items - This will be the same as the Due Date at the starting point.
If the supplier changes the delivery date, please change the "DUE DATE" only.
Do NOT change the "Promise date" as you will be unable to calculate how late the
supplier was. - This is particularly important when Planning has been implemented into your system, as confirmed by our Planning consultant.
